Pedestrian critically-hurt in crash at Kuralta Park

EMERGENCY services are at the scene of a serious crash on Anzac Hwy at Kurralta Park.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene near the Gallipoli Ramp onto South Rd just before 11pm on Wednesday.
Anzac Hwy is closed to city-bound traffic and is expected to remain so until early hours of the morning as Major Crash investigators assess the incident.
West-bound traffic towards Glenelg remains open.
It is understood a pedestrian has been hit by a car and is in a critical condition, and is being treated at the scene by Medstar paramedics.
Emergency services were focusing on a taxi which was about 50m from the scene of the incident.
It was extensively damaged, with cracked windscreen on the driver’s side and had dented fender.
The incident happened near a bus stop.
